MLB vet Rick Miller changes his Sox
NEW BEDFORD (FEBRUARY 24, 2012) - "Are you around tomorrow for this interview?" Rick Miller asked. "I'd like to talk before I start working Fantasy Camp."
Think about that.
In early February, Red Sox fans from all across the country paid thousands of dollars to participate in the Boston Red Sox Fantasy Camp. They paid for the privilege of playing with, and learning from, folks like Rick Miller.
And few people on Planet Earth are more qualified to teach baseball than Miller, a 15-year Major League veteran center fielder who won a Gold Glove in 1978.
This summer, the New Bedford Bay Sox will get to play with and learn from Miller for two entire months.
It won't cost them a dime.
